The Dependable Intelligence of
ATOMIUS SDWAN
Dynamic, per-packet traffic steering across multiple connections simultaneously
ATOMIUS SDWAN uses fixed-line access technologies, 4G/5G, satellite, microwave or radio connections simultaneously, giving your business resilient connectivity and removing dependence on a single link. Application-aware, per-packet routing dynamically steers traffic, while 0.3-second failover helps keep teams productive and critical applications running when a connection fails. Built-in firewall protection, encrypted traffic and SASE integration strengthen security, with up to 1Gbps throughput per location as standard, to support your cloud services, sites and remote teams.

Designed, installed, managed and supported around the clock by experts.
Voice and video continuity
Helps maintain voice and video sessions during outages.
Put Every Connection to Work Without Putting Your Business on Hold
When a dropped connection costs more than connectivity
- Critical applications struggle when links degrade or fail
- You want fixed, mobile and satellite connections working together
- Your network needs to scale without bandwidth-tier licensing becoming a barrier
Why ATOMIUS SDWAN is Different
Your network should adapt to your business - not your vendor’s licensing model. ATOMIUS SDWAN combines purpose-built, packet-based SD-WAN with no bandwidth throughput tiers or multi-tier licence uplifts. Scale up or down monthly, with PAYG, OPEX and CAPEX options, low-to-no upfront investment and options without contractual lock-ins. Integrated into OMNIA rather than bolted on as an extra, ATOMIUS SDWAN delivers intelligent connectivity with the flexibility to change capacity and spending as your operational needs evolve.
Build resilience into your network. Not restrictions into your business.

Technical specification |
|
Platform |
Pure-play SD-WAN developed by ATOMNIA for intelligent, dynamic connectivity rather than as a bolt-on feature. Delivered as standard with all OMNIA bundles and solutions, with no separate SD-WAN add-on or licence uplift. |
|
Service levels |
Available in LITE, BIZ and PRO service levels to align capabilities and commercials with site requirements and business scale. |
|
Capacity and licensing |
Up to 1 Gbps SD-WAN capacity per site. Licences are portable between sites, enabling organisations to increase or reduce connected locations without penalties. |
|
Transport support |
Uses available connectivity options simultaneously, including internet circuits, xDSL, FTTC, FTTP, MPLS, 4G, 5G, LTE, satellite and locally available access technologies. |
|
Connection scale |
The number of concurrent connections is limited only by the number of physical interfaces on the underlying hardware, such as VENA or VECTA uCPE. |
|
Traffic steering |
Packet-based dynamic traffic steering maintains application performance and helps avoid session drops during link degradation or outages. |
|
Failover |
Automatic circuit failover in less than 0.3 seconds, preserving live sessions and maintaining real-time voice and video through seamless rerouting across available links. |
|
Mobile and satellite access |
4G, 5G and LTE can operate as a primary connection, not only as backup. Supports resilient, high-speed connectivity using Starlink and 4G simultaneously in challenging locations. |
|
Secure overlay |
Built-in stateful packet firewall on every deployment. Secure tunnels create an encrypted, IP-based overlay independent of the underlying transport. |
|
Data assurance |
Integrates with OMNIA SASE and Layers 2, 3 and 4 encryption for defence-grade data assurance when required. |
|
Cloud connectivity |
Multi-cloud ready, with seamless connectivity into multi-cloud environments. Works with ATOMIUS CLOUD and the wider OMNIA ecosystem to reach IaaS and SaaS instances and hundreds of global data-centre locations. |
|
Cloud architecture |
A single SD-WAN instance with ATOMIUS CLOUD/on-ramps can access multiple cloud providers, reducing the need to deploy separate SD-WAN instances in each cloud. |
|
Management and policy |
Integrated with OMNIA’s centralised management, orchestration and policy engine for application-aware, policy-based forwarding and automation. |
|
Deployment and support |
Supports rapid installation, activation and zero-touch-style deployment. Designed, tested, installed, managed and supported 24×7×365 by ATOMNIA’s specialist team. |
Deployment and Commercial Flexibility
ATOMIUS SDWAN can operate as a non-disruptive hybrid overlay alongside existing MPLS or legacy networks, enabling traffic to migrate gradually as contracts expire. It is available through PAYG, Opex and Capex models, with flexible contract terms to suit different procurement strategies.
Extensibility and Use Cases
- Remote and hard-to-reach locations where 4G, satellite or local/regional access options are the only available connectivity.
- Sites requiring stable WAN connectivity to support IoT, AI, automation and robotics.
- Logistics, tracking and real-time inventory environments requiring supply-chain visibility and always-on connections.
- Organisations planning phased SD-WAN migration, hybrid WAN overlays, multi-cloud or SASE architectures.
